Makes: 5 servings

Prep: 15 Minutes

Cooking: 20 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 x 400g roti paratha (pack of 5)
5x chicken frankfurter (sausage)
salt and black pepper
1 free-range egg, beaten (optional)

Method:

1.Preheat the oven to 200C/400F.

2.Each pack of roti paratha pack comes with 5 pieces. Therefore, use 5 chicken sausage.

3.Each roti paratha comes in a round shape, simply cut two sides to make it easier to roll.

4. Lay a piece of sausage on one end, then season the sausage with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Roll the sausage up to enclose and repeat with all the sausages.

5.Cut the sausage roll in half to make it bite size and so that it will cook evenly. Brush well all over with a beaten egg  (optional).

6.Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry has turned golden-brown and looks crisp. Remove from the oven and leave to cool slightly before serving.
